The quiet world of a small bourgeois family begins to fall apart from the moment that Miriam, 14, meets her boyfriend of the Internet. While her friends eagerly prepare the traditional fifteen-year-old party, Miriam does not know how to explain to her family that her boyfriend is black.

Martín Rodríguez Redondo was born in Argentina. In 2016 he directed the short film Las liebres which screened at international film festivals and won the short film competition at the Instituto Nacional de Cine y Artes Audiovisuales (INCAA) in Argentina. Marilyn is his debut feature as a director.

Natalia Cabral was born on July 28, 1981 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She is the director and producer. He studied film at the International Film School of San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba (EICTV). He co-directed together with his partner Oriol Estrada the documentaries “Tú y Yo” and “El Sitio de los Sitios” (2016). “Miriam Miente” is her first fiction film.
