Synopsis

Buñuel in the labyrinth of the turtles, is a story in reality surpasses fiction, Buñuel and The labyrinth of the turtles tells the story of how Luis Buñuel shot his second film, the documentary Las Hurdes, land without bread. Paris, 1930. Salvador Dalí and Luis Buñuel are the main figures of the surrealist movement, but Buñuel sees all the doors close after the scandalous premiere of The Golden Age, his first film. However, his good friend, the sculptor Ramón Acín, buys a lottery ticket with the crazy promise that, if he wins, he will pay for the documentary that his friend wants to shoot about Las Hurdes, one of the poorest and most forgotten regions of Spain. Incredibly, luck is on your side, the ticket wins the Christmas Lottery and your friend keeps his promise. A beautiful story of friendship, a fascinating episode in the history of cinema and a trip where Luis becomes Buñuel.
