Arturo Infante

With a degree in Performing Arts from the University of the Arts in Havana, Arturo Infante later studied Screenplay at EICTV. He has written several feature film scripts for different directors, among which “The Age of the Peseta” (2006), nominated for the Goya Award for Best Foreign Film. As director, he has made five short films, exhibited both inside and outside the country and that have won various awards. Of them, “Enjoy Eating Split” (2007) won the Best Fiction Short Film Award in Havana and integrated the official selection of Clermont Ferrand. Parallel to his creative activity, he has served on the juries of various festivals, funds and competitions in Cuba and abroad, and has also taught film screenings and advice.
