Rodrigo Bellott

Rodrigo Bellot (Santa Cruz de la Sierra, October 4, 1978) is a filmmaker, screenwriter, producer and director of Bolivian theater. He studied cinema at Ithaka College in New York. His first short film “Forlorn” won three student festivals. The second, “Destierro” was selected as the best student short film to be shown in a parallel show of the Oscars, and the third, “Sex” (2002), was screened at more than 45 film festivals. His first feature film, “Sexual dependence” triumphed in different events and won the Fipresci prize at the Locarno Festival, among others.
