LA ISLA DE LOS FAISANES

Pheasant Island is the smallest condominium in the world. For half of the year it belongs to Spain, and for the other half to France. Rising from the middle of the Bidasoa River, it marks a natural border between the two nations.
Laida and Sambou, a local couple, are walking along the riverbank when they suddenly witness two people swimming across the river, attempting to reach the other side. Days later, a corpse appears during the ceremonial exchange of sovereignty over the island. As jurisdiction shifts from one state to another, a troubling question emerges: who is responsible?

Isla de los Faisanes es el condominio más pequeño del mundo. Durante medio año pertenece a España y la otra mitad a Francia. Situada en mitad del Río Bidasoa, marca una frontera natural entre ambos estados.
Laida y Sambou, una pareja local, pasean junto al río cuando presencian a dos personas cruzándolo a nado para intentar llegar al otro lado. Días después, un cadáver aparece durante el acto de intercambio de soberanía de la isla. Mientras la jurisdicción cambia de manos, surge una pregunta inquietante: ¿quién se hace cargo?
