LA MISTERIOSA MIRADA DEL FLAMENCO

In the early 1980s, in the Chilean desert, eleven-year-old Lidia grows up within a loving queer family pushed to the margins of a hostile, dust-choked mining town. When a mysterious illness begins to spread, rumored to be transmitted through a single look exchanged between two men in love, the family becomes a target of fear and blame. As violence and hysteria escalate, Lidia leads a quest for vengeance in this modern western, confronting hatred, superstition, and brutality. In a world ruled by intolerance, family becomes her only refuge, and love may prove to be the greatest danger of all.

A principios de los años 80, en el desierto chileno, Lidia, de once años, crece en el seno de una amorosa familia queer, arrinconada en los márgenes de un hostil y polvoriento pueblo minero. Cuando comienza a propagarse una misteriosa enfermedad, supuestamente transmitida a través de una sola mirada entre dos hombres que se aman, la familia se convierte en el blanco del miedo y la culpa colectiva. En este western moderno, Lidia lidera una búsqueda de venganza enfrentándose a la violencia, la superstición y el odio.
