UNA SILLA LLAMADA MAURA

Maura has been trapped in the form of a chair for far too long. Weary, she blocks the door to keep anyone from moving her. Javier insists on entering, challenging her resistance. She reminds him how, when the door was opened, others stripped her of everything—even of herself. In her vulnerability, Javier feigns compassion only to impose his own desire. But Maura confronts him, rejecting the objectifying gaze imposed upon her, and in a dance of power, she burns her wooden body. Through steps and shoves, she sheds the chair and finally names herself a woman.
Maura lleva demasiado tiempo atrapada en la forma de una silla. Cansada, bloquea la puerta para que nadie más entre a moverla. Javier insiste en pasar, cuestionando su resistencia. Ella le recuerda cómo, al abrir la puerta, otros la despojaron de todo, incluso de sí misma. En su vulnerabilidad, Javier finge compasión solo para imponer su deseo. Pero Maura lo enfrenta, rechaza la mirada de objeto que le impusieron y, en una danza de poder, quema su cuerpo de madera. Entre pasos y empujones, se despoja de la silla y, por fin, se nombra mujer.
