Director's Statement

For twenty years I have been obsessed with the archeology of cinema, with the origin of the media, and I am aware that no one has done a work on the origins of cinema, something that goes beyond the Lumière Brothers, but there are representations and projections for 40.000 years, although in a very rudimentary way and different from how we live them now. Human beings have the need to tell stories, to transmit messages. We are ephemeral, so we must transmit something, and at a given moment we discovered the possibility of delighting in the image and then mixing it with music, and thus constructing a work, telling a story. Thousands of years ago we had bone, wood, fire, caves, acoustics...that generated images and animations that have changed, technology has evolved, but ultimately it is the same, telling a story that can transcend.
