Director's Statement

From Europe they paint how we want to help the rural world and then they are removing aid and the land from under their feet. The story is to tell that no one is helping the countryside, that there is talk of an emptied Spain and from Europe they encourage people to go to the towns to live in their homes and work from the computer, but the rural environment is not helped, On the contrary, it is prevented. And a type of crop is being promoted, for example, that dries. In La Mancha almost all the dry land vineyards have been removed and irrigated. Promoted by the European Union, there are hectares and hectares that we already knew that there was no water to irrigate them, that the water was being taken from illegal wells in most cases and that they were emptying the subsoil. I didn't think I was going to make a tragedy and I wasn't going to make a comedy either. The language is the language of the earth, which is laughed at so as not to cry or not to die. In the end, we all like to laugh at our misfortunes and those of others and that's fine. Laughter is the only way we have to enjoy.
